Lead Isotopes
LabWest’s high-resolution mass spectrometers support determination of a range of isotopes – in particular radiogenic nuclides of lead, thorium and uranium. These isotopes can be determined from most of our digest techniques (such as MAR and MMA digests), however for maximum sensitivity, a partial-digest with dilute nitric acid is recommended.
Results can be reported as analyte concentration, or as isotope ratios.
