Quality Systems
LabWest is accredited by NATA to ISO/IEC 17025 standard and the scope of accreditation includes all of our geochemical analysis techniques. NATA is the peak accreditation body in Australia for accreditation of testing facilities, and ISO17025 is the international standard against which laboratories world-wide are assessed.
Quality has been the primary focus during development of all analytical methods and procedures, from sample preparation (where pulveriser bowls are barren-washed after every sample) through to in-house-developed statistical data validation software.
Technical Innovation
LabWest’s philosophy has been to utilise the best available equipment and cutting-edge techniques, hence our use of microwave digestion technology rather than the traditional hotbox or hotplate options.
Interfacing the latest extraction techniques with current generation ICP-MS and ICP-OES instruments gives us the ability to deliver multi-spectral analytical solutions that are targeted to your situation.
